Biblical Dates

No, we’re not Jewish or Messianic Jewish – we put Biblical dates on our posts because we like to be Biblical!  We also include the Gregorian date for convenience.  The Gregorian date is actually Roman, or catholic, and we believe the Biblical date should take precedence.  The year 6022 does not match the Jewish year, because they have introduced error in it deliberately to prevent people making any connection between Jesus Christ and the Messiah.  Of course we know Jesus to be the Messiah.  He came to earth when He was supposed to according to Daniel’s prophecies, around 2022 years ago.  And that was about 4000 years after Creation, hence the 6022 year.  This does not take away honour from Jesus, because it was He Who made earth about 6022 years ago, and He did not come into existence 2022 years ago, because He has always been.  He is from everlasting.
