When your days on Earth are done, you will spend eternity in heaven or hell – there is no other choice. A lot of people have the idea that when they die, God will let them into heaven because they are basically a good person, or because they’ve done more good deeds than bad deeds, or maybe they think it’s because they go to church or because they’ve been baptized. None of these things will let you into Heaven. Many think that because “God is love” He couldn’t possibly send someone to hell, but the Truth is, you have to be perfect to go to Heaven. But keep reading, there is a way for you to be perfect in God’s eyes. There’s only ever been One Who is perfect, and that is Jesus Christ. About 2000 years ago, He left Heaven to become a man on Earth. He was tortured and then died on a cross. His death was the perfect sacrifice that paid for all of mankind’s sins. He was buried, and He rose from the dead three days later, and now is in Heaven, seated at the right hand of the Father. If we repent (change our mind and realize our need of a Saviour, and turn to the Saviour Jesus Christ for forgiveness and salvation) and accept His gift of salvation – if we believe and trust in the Gospel, which is, “that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures”, then we will be clothed with His righteousness, and so through His perfection, we will gain entrance to Heaven. Please do this today. And please be sure you truly believe and trust exclusively in Jesus Christ and the Gospel, because if you didn’t you aren’t really saved. One way to tell is if you’re no longer happy sinning. If you sin, and it doesn’t bother you, you probably aren’t saved. We’re not going to be sinless on earth, but we should have a new attitude against sinning.
Read His Word (King James Bible) daily.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Acts 16:31
And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. Mark 1:15
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 1st Corinthians 15:1-4
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23

Finding a Bible-believing church in these last of the last days would be a great idea, but may be impossible especially in certain regions, because of the great falling away (2 Thess. 2:3) that we are witnessing. Baptist churches historically have been the ones with the correct doctrine, but this is changing and many are now Calvinistic, or, if they do still have a good doctrinal statement, the lifestyle does not match it. We’ve heard that in churches of the Southern Baptist Convention, many members, and even pastors, are Freemasons! The Baptist denominations are still your best possibility of a good church. Do not join cults such as Seventh Day Adventist, Roman Catholic, Mormon, Jehovah’s Witness, Mennonite, Amish, Christian Science, etc. If you can’t find a good established church with right doctrine, and right practice, all I can recommend is trying to find as many true Bible believers as you can and at least assemble yourselves regularly, even perhaps start a church. Remember, a church is not a building, but a group of people called out from worldly living, who believe in and serve the Lord Jesus Christ.
